051022-N-1592S-001 125 Sailors from Naval Station Great Lakes unfurl the Stars and Stripes during the singing of the National Anthem before 41,206 fans for the opening game of this years World Series, pitting the Chicago White Sox against the Huston Astros. The series is the Sox’ first in 88 years. Sailors from the Great Lakes area are regularly called upon by local sporting venues for such ceremonies, but were particularly honored to be a part of this historic event.
